If you’re unconscious of the small bag trend, sorry, you are out. This season many brands refocus on their classic styles, but with a smaller size. As far as I know, celebrated brands including DVF, AnyaHindmarch, Mulberry, Chanel… have taken part in this trends.
DVF released the small version of Lytton bag; AnyaHindmarch simplified its BlackCarker bag; Mulbeery will launch the mini-version for Lily, Bayswater and Alexa; Chanel min-2.55 chain bag are so cute. These mini-versions are not only a kind of cute, but also a kind of affordable. The prices of these little bag start at £100 without waiting. I believe that they will be became ladies’ favorites soon. EmmaHill, CCO of the Mulbeery said, “It’s the perfect size for little things.” I think it is true, girls always want a small size bag which just can put our cell phones, lipsticks and credit cards in.
Hermes also launched the Birkin mini-version which is only 14 cm long. It’s quite suitable for ladies taking to the receptions and parties. It is worth mentioning that the detachable shoulder strap design shows the elegance of the original Birkin bag, and also make the mini-Birkin more nifty. Epsom calfskin with cuckoo red and the bright color with exquisite workmanship reveal the Hermes’s perfectionism.
Christian Dior spring/ summer handbag 2011 also joined the ranks of “mini”. The LadyDior classic handbag which was design for Princess Diana became small and a detachable shoulder strap too. A modern girl with this mini-LadyDior, how chic! :]
